The Greens: where you go when you want a strong tradition of aligned leadership.

Does anyone know why the Guardian uses “Greens” as the adjective for the Green Party of England and Wales, instead of “Green”?

Keen to see the age demographic here. Have to imagine it suits the younger more idealistic among the public

If sultana was truthful and they had 20,000 sign ups before it went tits up then the greens have _potentially_ taken about 7% of that.

The Greens have an opportunity to grab the moment and be seen as the legitimate choice for a left leaning vote.
Let’s see if they fuck it up.

Maybe Corbs didn’t get the memo about ‘New Labour’ being a thing of the past.
He always has genuinely meant well (fighting the good fight and all that), unlike others in the Labour apparatus, but the chap really isn’t cut out for No.10 stuff.
The chap is still electoral asbestos and could well be handing the nutters an easy win by dividing the vote.

Since the General Election isn’t until 2029, they have time on their side to build, but I do like the aggressiveness of the new leader. The people before built a foundation, and it looks like he’s determined to build on that fast.
Still needs more publicity though, and I doubt some papers will being willing to give them time of day unless they become a legitimate threat.

Thousands of women join the Greens in the forlorn hope that their weird, breast enhancer, hypnotist leader with the terrible, crooked and gappy teeth can help them.

What a shit bit of journalism. Completely ignoring the points made my polanski yesterday about privatisation, which could have easily influenced the membership sign ups, and was reported in the guardian itself.

I left the Greens when there was zero budging on nuclear. It’s ridiculous in 2025 they still have an anti nuclear stance.
