The Europe Union needs to get on this quick to remove Teslas from the roads as they are not safe. I know there is a Car safety framework how did Tesla meet the requirements if this happened?

I hate Teslas but this dude would’ve crashed his family either way. I know where this happened and there’s roads where idiots Iike him try to overtake 5 cars at once despite incoming traffic. Those types of maneuvers are extremely reckless and the article even says that they died as he tried to overtake a caravan of other vehicles.
He and his children became victims of his impatience and recklessness. the trashcan Tesla did the rest

Absolutely horrible story. But the news link is the best I’ve read in a while – no distracting images and ads.

Four people burned to death in Toronto last year because the door could not be opened.
Why nobody is writing „A family died today in a Mercedes crash?“ …

“A new car built by my company leaves somewhere traveling at 60 mph.
The rear differential locks up. The car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside. Now, should we initiate a recall?
Take the number of vehicles in the field, A, multiply by the probable rate of failure, B, multiply by the average out-of-court settlement, C. A times B times C equals X.
If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don’t do one”

Let’s say that safety ins’t exactly Tesla’s biggest priority. It’s nicely explained in the video below.
Basically Tesla is using only cameras for self-driving, while all other companies use a combination of radars, lasers and cameras. Musk knows that Tesla’s are not really autonomous, but he still decided to call them self-driving cars.

This is tragic.
Keep a glass breaker in your car. ALWAYS
Gasoline cars burn about 50x more often than electric.
