Ciao a tutti, ieri ho comprato un po ‘di Weißwurst ad Aldi, c’era questa senape nella confezione e mi è piaciuto molto, con quali altri tipi di piatti è questo tipo di senape ideale?

    Its perfect for Weißwurst, also try it with added Meerrettich.

    I love it with Leberkäse, but also use a Laugensemmel und add some Pepper.

    Basically nothing. Leberkässemmel works as good as Weißwurst with süßer senf but apart from that nothing

    The sweet mustard is fine on cheese. Munsterkäse, Romadur, Limburger are tasting great with sweet mustard.

    As someone from Regensburg (The brand is from here, and sweet mustard in general is almost religiously followed here), I’d have this sweet mustard with a lot of different sausages. But honestly, it also adds a lot of flavor to salad vinaigrettes.

    That is sweet mustard.
    Good for leberkäse, weiss Wurst and All kind of sausages if you like. Also can be used for salad Dressings.

    Also good in some salads, like with chicken etc. Just use this mustard, honey, a little oil and salt and black pepper as dressing

    You’ve gotten all the answers, it is produced in my adopted home city, and I just wanted to add that it is kind of the “default mustard” for Weißwurst, so it’s cool that Aldi had them together 🙂

    Traditionally sweet mustard is served to Leberkas and Weißwürstel, but also to many other kinds of sausages like Wiener or Schweinswürstel (like 4 in a weggla)

    Basically any type of “Hausmannskost” that doesn’t involve fish.

    Sausages, pork and basically any other type of fatty meat dishes.

    Just dip the pretzel in it. So I always destroy the remaining pretzels after eating white sausage. Half a glass is gone in an action like this

    honestly, any dish with mustard can be replaced with sweet mustard if you like it.

    It is also a great ingredient when cooking or preparing food. Bouletten need a splash of mustard, using sweet mustard gives them another taste. Cold meat(roast day before) or even cold cuts with bread taste great with sweet) mustard. Salad dressings with sweet mustard are great especially with strong and bitter salads like Radicchio (red endive/italian chicory)
