Oops; sorry about that.
I see these popping up every now and then. This seems to me like a pretty regular thing in Germany, especially in the cities that sustained heavy bombing like Cologne, Berlin or Dresden.
I might be totally misremembering this, but I swear I read somewhere around the 2006 World Cup that the Berlin stadium (where the final was played) had an unexploded WWII bomb buried under the pitch. I kept thinking back then, like… how did Hertha play there for decades with a bomb under the field :S And apparently they only found it during the renovation works for the World Cup.
Yes happens sometimes, it’s annoying but actually not a big new.
