I often see the comment that Russia is not a threat to NATO and they cannot capture EVEN Ukraine. First of all, the scale of heroism and human sacrifice going into Ukraine resistance is simply incomprehensible to average EU dwellers. If conflict happens, we are yet to see how many ppl will be willing to risk their lives I bet it is gonna be a very low number until they experience firsthand the brutalities of the occupation. And second, Ukrainians are not lazier or summer than any of the inhabitants of top GDP performing western europe country. They build hardware and adapt fast. We are again yet to see how these efforts will be done by the “ivory tower” countries.
