    1. Probably because they suck at negotiating anything beneficial for themselves. Finland seems to do very badly in defending its own interest. With no real economic growth for 20 years they should be getting all kinds of support from EU, not end up paying for others…

Debt is a crisis measure. It should not be common practice.

While not in emergency we should gradually repay the old debt in full.

Then we can take even more debt in case of emergency.

    3. This is just your run of the mill anti-EU grandstanding from a far right party that’s been shedding votes in every single poll since the government was formed. They were happy enough to accept SAFE joint defense spending debt just a few months ago and I’d fully expect them to cave in again the second they can feasibly claim that the additional option for more joint debt is going to be targeted at defense infrastructure.

Most EU countries have way to much debt. The solution is not to take on more, but to pay it off! Thank you for listening!!

Look I Get the eu solidaritet thing but! Not everyone want to sacrifice there one life for political games… some of us are fine with our country and we don’t want spend that one life living less than we can because eu politicians can’t get their shit together… why should our electricity bills suddenly go up 500-1000% for some shit that has nothing to do with the decisions we make it life. Our politicians need to wake up because they and their supporters are alienating hard working successful people and we are almost out of patience.
