I think all of it is scripted and serves some propaganda purpose.
I think they invite these naysayers every now and then so they can give them a theatrical spanking. That way russians who share these thoughts loose confidence in the validity and viability of their thoughts. Also it allows to the regime to say ”see, we have free speech”.
If I were running a totalitarian dicatorship I would allow dissent to slightly bubble to allow these thoughts some venting. But then also crack down hard on any unauthorized dissent to make sure it doesn’t go beyond that.
If you crack down on *everything* you create an opportunity for dissenters to bond over shared discovery of truth. You crack down on some of it and allow some of it to be aired, while also making aure to discredit the thoughts and people airing it. It deflates the opposition a bit as people can see truth being spoken but it not leading to anything.
He also tries to convince people that the Russian Army have chosen to drag the war on for 3 years, instead af finishing it in 2 days or hours…because after all it is a “SMO”.

I´m beginning to think that “SMO” is actually a new Russian way of warfare, where you instead of doing in a logic rational and clever way, you do everything in exactly the opposite way.

If you confront the RuZZian public with facts….they are simply not used to it. Their stupid question is: “Who can explain to me what it means that we already eliminated 25,000 tanks out of 4,500? Do we have magic bullets that can eliminate TODAY tanks that will be build in the FUTURE? It MUST be like that, because our (fck!) officials would NEVER lie!” –> Ahahahaha….ahahahahaha….”We are lucky….they are so fck STUPID!”
