A flotilla carrying aid and pro-Palestine campaigners towards Gaza has been attacked by drones off the coast of Greece, those on board said.
Organisers of the Global Sumud Flotilla said late on Tuesday they heard explosions and saw drones attempt to strike some of their boats.
“Multiple drones, unidentified objects dropped, communications jammed and explosions heard from a number of boats,” the group said in a statement.
“We are witnessing these psychological operations first-hand, right now, but we will not be intimidated.”
The flotilla sailed from Barcelona on September 1 with the aim of breaking Israel’s blockade of Gaza and delivering aid to the people of Gaza.
More than 50 vessels are taking part, most of which are currently off the Greek island of Crete.
German human rights activist and flotilla member Yasemin Acar said in a video on Instagram that five vessels had been attacked.

Was to be expected considering turkey and Egypt announced their “naval exercises”. Curious how this will play out once they reach international waters considering Maritime law and how it would give turkey and Egypt the legal right to intercept any Israeli attempts to do their interception (which so far has been done once the boats reach int waters)

So where are these boats? It says most are off the coast of Greece. So Israel is flying drones with explosives around Greece and no government is confirming it? Not even Turkey? They’ve been broadcasting their location for weeks now. It seems way more likely these aren’t government sponsored actors or they’re doing it to themselves. This is the third time and last time Tunisia said it wasn’t true.
Edit. Also why would Israel do it? They’re just going to arrest them like last time. This only gives more attention to them.
