don’t be surprised when UK citizens get wrongly deported too, like that American citizen who was deported under Trump’s aggressive policies

if you think you’re safe just because you have UK citizenship, you’re delusional

Edit: it’s actually multiple American citizens who have been deported under Trump’s policies, including children

Of course, there are huge issues with his flagship policy, he’s a populist politician and a renowned liar. If it made financial sense, I’d be shocked. Still, it won’t make a difference to his fanatical supporters.

I wouldn’t trust the OBR statistics one bit. You’re going to have to do better than this to convince people.

    4. This man is simply copying the trick donald trump used to become the president.

His flagship policies could be sending elephants to the moon for all it matters. If you have the media behind you, you can lie until you get into office and then lie about why you cant do anything you promised.

You cant apply rules and logic to these people or anything they say.

Just cut taxes for the wealthy and raise them on working people, we obviously aren’t paying enough! Let’s have 0% tax on capital and 100% tax on salary! In fact, fuck it, 200% tax on salary! You work for free AND you have to get into debt so the “government” can hand out money to their mates!

We can’t house the homeless and feed the hungry, sorry but we have to be adults there’s no magic money tree!

Oh BTW my hateful “throw out everyone with skin tone darker than a sheet of A4 paper” policy is gonna cost us the triple lock and the NHS

    8. They’re basically going to make everything worse, fail to deliver on at least some of the policies they’ve promised (because doing so would break everything), and get replaced by the next iteration of the same right-wing populist nonsense. It’s all a distraction. Even if we scrapped 100% of spending on asylum seekers, that’s a one-time saving that wouldn’t even cover next year’s pension increase – and pensions go up every year.

We have to address the root causes of why we need immigration to prop up the economy in the first place

It’s all well and good to say without immigration our economy would be worse off (at the moment that is obviously true), but immigration is only a short term fix for long term problems, and will often make those long term problems worse

Reform aren’t addressing this, nor are labour, the Tories or Lib Dem’s. It’s the gigantic elephant in the room everyone is ignoring. But hey, it’s benefitting the owners of capital in the short term so hooray for that I guess…

This article says “migrants are mostly of prime working age, pay about £19,500 per adult per year in taxes, and generate £4.1bn a year in visa fees and surcharges.”

Is that right? I’ve no idea about visa fees but find it hard to believe legal migrants are paying an average of almost £20k PA in taxes. That’s an average salary of £80k

So cost us a massive amount of money. Break up families. Cut our public services. Where are the positives of this party?

Im not defending reform or any party, but this looks like a scare everybody headline.

Why are we even having a discussion about him. Its not just his brand of politics, his work ethic is shit, seems to be more bothered about going to America than serving his constituency
