    Kartoffelknödel (basicly rough mashed potatoes).

    There also exist their relaitves, the “Semmelknödel” (same but instead potatoes bread is used)

    Semolina Dumplings but Germany and Austria have different ones from semolina, bread potato.. filled and so on. Very tasty with the sauce
