Oleksandr Hordiienko, il contadino che ha distrutto oltre 100 droni russi con il suo fucile – molti hanno visto la foto, ma non la storia completa. Ho realizzato un video nella sua memoria.

Don’t know what I expected, but I also tried telling Oleksandr’s story to Russians on Chatroulette. Most of them just laughed. One even said it was a shame Oleksandr died — because then he couldn’t steal bread, like Russians already did in Kherson. Another, a military guy, told me it was actually part of Russia’s strategy: burn the fields, destroy the soil, so Ukrainian soldiers have no bread at all. That’s why, he said, they burn everything.
I decided not to add it to the video.
me-ro on
> This was the new stage of the war. Farmers against russian forces.
If 2022 taught me anything, it’s that never bet against Ukrainian farmers. They might have murdered Oleksandr, but seeing how many mines he recovered daily, I’m pretty sure Oleksandr’s effort will continue killing russians for quite some time.
From now on, every time I’ll see russian equipment blowing up on a landmine, I will wonder whether that was one of those he removed from his fields.
