Ho un’assicurazione sanitaria da Barmer dall’inizio del mio lavoro e finora sono stato contento di loro. Tuttavia non sono ancora stato da un dentista in Germania e non so quanto dei costi di cure dentistiche coprono davvero. Di recente ho ricevuto una lettera di offerta da Barmer, spiegando che coprono già alcune delle operazioni, ma per "completare" Copertura posso iscrivermi alla loro collaborazione con HUK-Coburg per 21,99 €/mese. So che la cura dentale è davvero costosa in Germania e le persone raccontano sempre storie dell’orrore su come cercano costantemente di strappare le persone. Se mi iscrivo a questo accordo, sarei in grado di entrare solo in un dentista, avere una ricostruzione completa dei miei denti e andarmene senza pagare un centesimo? O cosa mi piacciono veramente?

The huk ist Not gonna pay the rate they tell you
They have a catalogue of rates they pay and if the dentist goes over the rates they only pay a piece.
And their catalogue is old and doesn’t cover today’s cost
21,99€ a month?! Go to a dentist and find out how much money they want. It’s definitely less than you pay for that insurance in a year. That’s extremely expensive
Apparently my teeth are realtively low-maintenance in terms of dental work and also costs – I think my wife got more dental work done in two years than me in a half-a-decade. But 252€/year for an insurance of costs that may or may not come up sounds relatively expensive to me. Without having looked into the fine print of the contract.
