Fun to see how all the influencer types parroted the PR nonsense and then how all the meant-to-be-reputable outlets did the same.
Well….technically, the entrecôte is connected to the sirloin once you past the rib cage…….:-)
What’s the answer ? Can’t be arsed reading all that 😂
This is actually an interesting article, seems quite suspicious that it’s being downvoted?
A restaurant manager that takes other people’s ideas and then lies about it. I’ll be staying away from Little Pyg if this is how they operate.
If a headline is written in the form of a question, the answer is always no.
There are two separate chains run by kids of the original place. It’s a weird business already even without this.
Went to the one in bordeaux this summer. Tasty shit.
Sounds like the lads are chancing their arms a bit… like why bother?
I’d rather have a Filet Mignon.
In fairness even in Paris there’s copy cats!
I left a long comment on either a TikTok or an Instagram post about this, pointing all this out but the post must’ve been deleted.
It really bugged me since I saw this place opening as it didn’t have any other business with the word ‘Entrecote’ (or ‘L’Entrecote’) in their handle, which would be very unusual for a small/prestigious chain.
Then I got my detective hat on and couldn’t find any one Entrecôte/L’Entrecote chain claiming to be opening in Dublin. They’re bullshitting journalists and hoping no one will check, which builds them credibility out of nowhere.
Goes to show how many journalists seem to just copy and paste press releases when businesses like this open.
I knew it was a rip off when they said that the bread comes with butter.
