Seems a fairly important bit of context, especially since it didn’t involve any children at the school and it doesn’t appear they were aware of each other’s crimes. Metro here sound like it was a requirement for employment.
I imagine the staffroom was a little awkward after the news though!

Terrible. Almost as bad as that paedophile that disguised himself as a school that I saw on a documentary 20 odd years ago.
