Cool to see the pirates still around and fairly popular.
In Germany, they have on a steady decline. But their (ex-)MEP has been doing important work.

      Are they similar to Germany’s?

Wow. The Czechs are basically the most right wing people on the planet. I did not know that.

      Brother what….

ANO is running a **left-populist** economic ticket

SPOLU is a mishmash of parties, where two are socially conservative(christian-conservatives and liberal-conservatives; third party is urban liberal/progressive) and two fiscally conservative(christian democrats are socialists for families). Even then TOP09(urban liberals) and ODS(liberal conservatives) moved much to centre. As a Coalition, **centre to centre-right perhaps.**

SPD and Stačilo are same platforms with different priorities, **left-populism.**

STAN is “whatever mommy EU tells us to do”. **Centre to Centre-left.**

Přísaha is mostly based around security/policing/anti-corruption(makes sense since its leader is former head of anti-corruption police), but economically they run on social democrat ticket(having a lot of SocDem party rejects and having wanted to join with them in coalition). **Centre-left.**

*CONSERVATIVE AND NATIONALIST DOES NOT EQUATE RIGHT. JUCHEISM, MAOISM AND STALINISM ARE NOT RIGHT-WING, YET ALL WERE NATIONALISITIC.

Loving Czechia and Czechs I dont get who they vote for. It’s like when there is voting they go full ‘Let’s f**k everyrhing and have fun”.

Is ANO really right-wing? I think they consider themselves more like economically left-leaning. They support increased spending, mainly on things like social security for older people, and they also antagonize small business owners. I know they lean socially conservative, but I’m not sure if that alone necessarily makes them right-wing.

    8. On what basis are parties attributed to right/left here?

right/left is always relative to some reference center, for example one can use the median voter. But that obviously isn’t the case here.

czechia -> gets fcked by nzs ->wait 80 years -> votes for nzs

      Classic

Fucking hell a single-issue carbrain party getting into parliament will make a right/far-right coalition possible. What a ridiculous dystopia.

    11. What frame of reference was used to determine left and right? Because the median voter is clearly not in the centre, which is what one would expect.

      Spolu-STAN-Pirates grand coalition pls?

That or I pray this is an Ann Selzer Iowa style polling error

    13. Here comes another thorn in the side of the EU, right next to Orbán and Fico.

    14. > ANO

      > right-wing
