Irish people love pro wrestling and it’s fucking dogshit.
I do think Rebecca Quin deserves a lot more credit here at home for what she’s achieved.
Yes the results are decided beforehand and yes it’s a glorified soap opera with extreme gymnastics thrown in but for an Irish woman to come from a country with very little wrestling pedigree to go over there and establish herself as one of the best, one of the headline acts….. that’s a phenomenal achievement.
I don’t follow WWE like I did as a kid (blessed with the attitude Era) but for those out of the loop, that’s Becky Lynches husband.
I always found it bizzare and crazy how much people on the Irish reddit love to hate on wrestling.
Like come on, it’s a bit of a fun to watch. I see clips of it on YouTube and Twitter the odd time and that’s pretty much it, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to hate on it
