Contact Paypal directly, not through email, and check if that is really from them.

If you owe anything to PayPal, it’ll be shown as soon as you login.

Contact Paypal – but yes, this looks like a scam.

In the first sentence stays that you didn´t answer to the letters they sent you… so, did you get some letters or not?

It’s not a scam, at least not the kind of every suspects it’s to be. The lawyers behind ksp are real and they want money from you. If you say that you didn’t open an PayPal accounts from this email address then maybe someone else did. You should contact PayPal and ask about information about this account. Explain that you didn’t opened this account and you are not willing to pay for a order you didn’t done.

    Don’t ignore this matter!

For once, **this is** (likely) **not a scam**. KSP is a real law firm/debt collection agency, PayPal does use its service for delinquent accounts.

However, that doesn’t mean you haven’t been scammed. If you didn’t open a (second) PayPal account in your name, someone else did. You’re not responsible for that debt.

Contact PayPal to get the illicit account closed and the supposed address and information on file. File a report for identity theft with your local police department and take this report to KSP.

At minimum, you *have to* dispute that you owe this money with KSP. Do not listen to people telling you to ignore this, it likely won’t go away without you getting proactive. If this is a scam e-mail, it’s one of the most convincing I have ever seen.
