Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo trovato un giovane piccione ferito. C’è qualcosa che non va nella sua gamba e nella sua ala. Lo abbiamo spostato in una borsa da una strada trafficata in una strada laterale, si nasconde dietro una pentola di fiori. A casa tendiamo a guidare tali casi in una clinica accanto allo zoo, ma qui siamo entrambi senza auto e non c’è veterinario in giro. Qualcosa che noi/ qualcuno potremmo fare?

Sadly the pigeons are not really taken care of, Bird Life Malta which is like a wild bird protection org does not intervene when it comes to wild pigeons. I called them once to check and they suggested taking it to a vet which i suppose would cost money to do (and time which most people don’t have much to spare)… But this was a few years ago, maybe worth calling them and just asking:

(And i realize of course that it wouldn’t be feasible for Bird Life to help with every pigeon that someon happens to find in the streets, not blaming them as they’re doing a ton of great stuff in this country)
