Given the Stasi-like nature of Chat Control, can’t blame ‘em.

I wonder how many more will leave if this actually gets passed.

We need to wake up about the dangers of chat control before its too late.. the voting is in 10 days and given the current EU country stances – the chat control would be implemented. Please send emails to your countries EP’s, newslets, they will react if they see that enough people are sending emails. The EP’s will vote for if they see that people are asleep and don’t care.

Good if this law gets passed future votes will be really simple for me and that’s get out of the EU no matter what the rest of the agenda of that political party will be.

I don’t want to live under a dictatorship or totalitarian regime and that’s inevitable if we give our politicians these kind of powers!

    6. I thought the whole idea of chat control is being blocked now Germany is against it as well?

    7. Good, we need more tech companies to stand up this dystopian nonsense

EU needs chat controls for politicians, judges, cops and all other bureaucrats in public services to hold them accountable and also uncover their peers that sell them cocaine and other illegal stuff. Enforcing chat controls on everyone else won’t make any real difference, it will just make them feel uncomfortable to share boobies and dicks around.

Love it. Go Signal! I wish a lot more companies had done the same with the British OSA: Just don’t comply and leave the market.

There’s apparently a lot of “undecided”, which is kind of BS. Considering the panic around the legislation, clarity would help.

And you’re still convinced this isn’t about protecting children at all?

As anyone who has moved their Signal account between an old phone and new phone knows, Signal take privacy and security extremely seriously, and their mission is very clear. This warning carries more weight and significance than any threat from a big tech CEO could
