Don’t expect cheaper anything….
The vat cut was never going to benefit the customer.
This is insane. Delis make a killing on selling overpriced slop.
Prices won’t come down but i’m sure if the VAT rate goes back up in 2027 prices will increase to reflect this
Why are we giving them free money when they are ripping their customer left and right? I still don’t understand. Bitch live off the market or close it down.
At this point they have used up so much of the money available for tax cuts on lining the pockets of big business owners we will be lucky if out income tax doesn’t go up to balance things out.
When the VAT cut will be removed next year having done nothing, hospitality will start crying again and using it as an excuse to further raise prices. Exactly just like last time
