For the first 11 years of the US, we had this crazy system where any one state could block most things, there was no permanent national army, and the national government was basically powerless. A new constitution was created to change that, as the previous system was a complete mess where little got done and various existential threats could not be properly handled.

I see a lot of parallels between that time and the EU of today.

In a cartoon world the EU is marching in step and Orban throws himself on the path just to watch them all walk around him… even his BFF Fico who tries not to make eye contact as he walks by.

I don’t see how hungary has “less corruption” and they are in the EU

    6. So basically break own rules because the outcome of the rules are not liked

    7. This will go down well with member states’ voters. Next they can complain people aren’t voting “rhe way they should”.
