Sounds like a great idea. The reality is it will be a bureaucratic nightmare at every level.

Only question I have is; who can deny the Army deployment, can any country block its deployment?.
Could the EU parliament send the Army into a country against its will…

Absolutely not

I’m shocked, but it still is a lot lower than eurosceptic countries like Greece

People really believe in European army ?
I mean let’s be honest, we need the convergence of 27 countries to change a comma in a sentence (I’m exaggerating but you get it) and the new 6th jet fighter program is already in beef between the main participants.
Putin know the strength of Europe is 27 countries and its weakness is 27 countries too.

I find it amusing that some people believe an EU army could realistically function when the two most powerful countries can’t even collaborate on a basic military project. How would such an army even be commanded? With NATO, the USA has held command for decades. Would Germany allow its soldiers to be commanded by a French officer? Or vice versa?

Only if we get to be in charge of the navy.
Why not just station troops in Moscow?
