I mean they can get Irish voice actors for video games for even minor roles. (Molly in Red Dead 2 comes to mind) Surely Disney could find one for a Simpsons movie.
They used an actual Irish actor for this role first but because the other simpsons kids have adults doing their voices, it didn’t sound natural having one actual childs voice, so they had to recast the part.

Fiona Shaw was in the “The Flandshees of Innersimpson” episode earlier this year and was great.

Irish or non-irish aside, I hate how they brought in a random character love interest instead of using the unique setting of a movie to explore Lisa and Milhouse’s dynamic.
Such a wasted potential.

Nope. There’s a law in Hollywood that Irish characters must always be played by British actors.
