Leave right now! Like run, leave the wife, kids, everything. It’s totally justified.

Or, buy a flamethrower and a rocket launcher and have some craic. Either way, the house needs to be abandoned.

This is a bronze beetle, it’s a type of leaf beetle. They seem a lot more common this time of year. They are completely harmless unless you are a flower. They’re very beautiful little insects, it’s always a treat to see them 🙂

Here you come knocking, knocking on my door
Well, I’ve never met a bug like you before

It’s not a bug (order: *Hemiptera*) it’s a beetle (order: *Coleoptera*), specifically a [Bronze (Leaf) Beetle](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysolina_bankii) (*Chrysolina bankii*). You should download the iSeek app, I find it to be pretty good at identification – it even told me I was human, something I’ve not been sure of for a while now.

They tend to feed on plants in the daisy and nettle families.

Leaf beetles are one of the largest families of beetles, consisting of over 37,000 species, many of which are metallic and brightly coloured.

That’s just Tony. He won a few pound recently on the horses and it’s obviously went to his head and now he’s wearing a copper suit. He’s always been a prick.

I have a ton of these around the outside of the house. Anyone else? I’d never seen them before
