Wasn’t it already public knowledge that teslas are low quality and expensive to repair?
Literally, stop buying the slop nazi car. There’s far better EVs out there that may look even better and may be cheaper to repair. Just get a Toyota or something.
EV aside components aside, all cars still come down to extremely reliable mechanical engineering – suspensions, brakes, steering systems, bodywork, etc etc and that’s all about incredibly finely tuned manufacturing and quality control, and also a very long history of design.
Tesla’s basically a tech company with a giant pile of investor cash that has focused mostly on the non-mechanical side of the car.
Same happens with ev’s from non automotive manufacturers

Tldr tesla sucks
Not a Tesla owner, but didn’t they just set a sales record pushing them out the door before the tax credit ends? A family member has one and he’s been happy with it. So maybe we’re missing a little nuance here?
It is almost like a shitty company led by a ketamine-fueled conman produces poor quality cars.

The failure rates are mostly attributed to the suspension design not able to withstand the weight. The excessive weight issue is also the cause of infrastructure failures. The cost of infrastructure failure because of EV weights is not just a financial burden of the EV owners though.
This is a very strange take. Tesla has consistently shown in research that it has one of the cheapest maintenance costs across all car brands
Space Karen’s car company is really standing on it’s last leg and it’s more obvious than ever that it’s breakdown is imminent (2023 I predicted that they’ll bankrupt before the end of the decade). Yet the stock price is at new record levels. Saying that it’s overpriced by a factor of 1000 would probably be the understatement of the century.
Once that bubble pops I’ll be laughing for two hours non-stop.
Does TUV inspection results give the same? I’d assume it would be same for all Europe. If not, then Finns just drive Tesla’s like a rally car.
