      All that talk of him not bucking under pressure due to his experience in sports is very funny in hindsight.

      Truly a terrible candidate, although seemed like a decent man and I hope he finds peace. Shows this politics stuff is brutal and requires serious thick skin.

      Edit: didn’t read much into the rent thing. So I take back the decent man. Chap didn’t have a notion.

      Éamon Ó Cuív refusing to endorse Gavin makes me think we’ll see some FF drama over the next few days. It’s almost impressive how badly Chambers did running Gavin’s campaign

      As per Gavan Reilly:

      >It is not possible, at this juncture, to officially withdraw or to remove a name from the ballot paper. Jim Gavin’s name will remain on the ballot for Friday 24th, merely with no campaign behind it.
