this stuff kinda freaks me out. Not gonna lie, using missiles for ‘defense’ always sounds a bit too Orwellian 1984 to me.
The reality is that nobody gives a shit about cruise missiles, it would suprise me if there was even significant effort being made in developing cruise missiles.
They simply don’t excel at anything, easy to intercept and more expensive than drones.
If you want to hit something fast and hard you use ballistic missiles, if you want to exhaust air defense and be cost effective you use cheap drones and honestly with jet engines the distinction between drones and cruise missiles is murky anyways.
Is Ukraine willing to sell them to NATO countries in Europe for responses to Russia’s continuing violations of NATO countries sovereignty?
