The fault with this yoke is that if you connect the power the wrong way, which the connector will allow, then the body becomes live. It’s an insane design fault.

Please check your pump carefully as the copper pipework could be live too.

Save you a click – Don’t go trying to wire/install a recirculating pump unless you know what you’re doing.

      Same applies to wiring anything.

Just checked and mine is affected, have handled this thing several times over the past year. Pain in the balls to have this replaced now. Will they do it for nothing? Installed a year ago.

Where is this pump? I have an air to water system. It’s a Daikin. Could it use this pump?

    5. Fucking typical this would come out right at the start of heating season. Just got ours replaced last year. Guess I’ll go check the serial number.

Fucks sake. Just bought a house and I have no idea where to even find this thing to check

Just looked in our hot press, no such pump there.
Nothing in the utility room either.
Last year we got a new Grant Vortex Condenser oil boiler installed (outdoor), could that have such a pump?

Have a Grant 13kw, it’s all fully out doors. I suppose if I have one of these it will be located on the pipes near the cylinder indoors somewhere.

Hmmm. Looks like I have one too, the old one was replaced last year during an upgrade of the heating and boiler. But I’m fairly certain I’ve handled it since it was installed when I was trying to reduce noise from the boiler.

I tested it with a multimeter just now and it’s not live, so I guess mine was installed correctly.
