He’s fishing for specifics, so he can “decide” not to send Tomahawks but he will definitely send the intended times and targets to Putin.
People don’t seem to realise there have to be limits – reactors, nuclear weapon sites, etc will have to be off limits.
The exact limits is probably the tough part of the discussion but it can’t be a free for all. Wars with nuclear powers are always going to be a mess.

He wants to know if Putin’s a target for a US missile? I would want to know, and I’d expect Trump to find it hard to cross that line.
Personally as a random Brit, I’d rather a Ruzzian does the thing while looking him in the eye, but he’s absolutely a high quality target for Ukraine. By any means possible, it’s war, not playing games.
