He says paralell communities are a problem but provides no solution. Pretty typical Jenrick. FWIW he is not totally wrong about the population of Handsworth but it is not an unfriendly place from my experience.
As always with a tory. Suggest a problem, offer no solutions and no explanation why they did nothing about this apparent problem for 14 years.
Don’t worry though, just like their 2010 Election campaign, Jenrick will run on a claim that he’ll reduce immigration by 100s of thousands.
Complaining that there are not enough visible “poor whites” in one of the most deprived areas of the UK is a weird flex
I was in Reigate in Surrey a while back. Barely saw any non white faces. Appallingly bad integration.
White folks denigrating brown people, then pondering why they don’t then make more effort to mix with white folks…
What effort has someone like Jenrick, or indeed the Tory party, made to encourage or help integration, other than lob racist pronouncements from the sidelines?
Sadiq Khan is as ‘integrated’ as you can get; from an immigrant family, elected Mayor of London 3 times and knighted by the King, supports community events like pride. Still not good enough, still not integrated enough..
The whole illegal immigration and integration bollocks is a smokescreen. It’s always been about race, the crook Jenrick just slipped up, saying it where it was being recorded (thinking he was safe).
