      Can anyone tell me where this dose came out of? I realize she is / was a solicitor of some sort, but I never heard of her in the public domain like this.

      Do these people actually think before they speak? I mean, it’s not like someone spontaneously stuck a microphone under her face when she was walking out of the pub – this was a preplanned media event.

      It’s a staggering level of sanctimonious, regressive ignorance that Steen thinks _she_ represents that unrepresented cohort of voters. Of all people. Though seems on brand a socially conservative type would want to cancel an election – they like that.

      Presumably she was similarly vexed when the immediately previous election was also a two horse race? Something tells me not so much, given she hadn’t tried to run.

      Not sure why a national newspaper is covering the witterings of a failed candidate and someone who doesn’t represent the ideologies of the .majority – though maybe that I clicked the link is its own answer .

      Why is she being given the oxygen of publicity? People, please don’t click on the link before the media decide she’s good for “engagement”.

      Here’s the problem. I don’t believe either candidate will make a good present. Alot of people feel the same. Let’s say we all go out and vote for bug jim. And he gets elected but will have to resign. She’ll be better prepared to get nominated this time and might win. No I’m forced to vote for the least worst option.
