Aerial drone delivery has a place for emergency stuff etc but anyone thinking that the future of delivery or coffee and take aways is going to be done by these privacy invading mega mosquitos is just out of touch and too in love with the idea of drones.
Deliveries will be done via wheels on the ground. They will eventually be automated. They will carry any weight, they won’t be able to see you through your upstairs window. They won’t be hampered by high wind and rain. They will be next to silent in the last few meters to your door. There will be fewer and less dangerous ways for them to fail or be hacked.
Aerial delivery is just a dead end apart from emergency supplies.
Asianometry on youtube did a video on this recently in Blanch. Can’t believe he came to Ireland at all.

Coming off the M50 at Blanch today and there a huge one hovering over the old total fitness building and you could easily see how it could distract some drivers.
Load of babies born in blanch with suspiciously large propellers lately. Makes you wonder.
