Russia can’t afford peace so they prepare for perpetual war essentially.

How could Russia fight NATO when it can’t even beat Ukraine?

Any military should be in Phase 0 versus potential enemies. Change my mind

Phase 0 as in they’ll lunch the nukes any minute now or as in they’re like “maybe we need a plan”? They’re very different ways of looking at this shit.

What am I saying, it’s a nothing burger aimed at scaring the general population some more with empty wording. I don’t know who are more idiotic, these people or the ones that say “we should let Ukraine to its fate”.

Their elite is dead if the war stops. so they chose their own filthy lifes over those of millions

And these bastards control the media so they claim they fight class boundaries and refer to old soviet era shit

communism was never about classes. its just another excuse to be elite, its a false flag

capitalism is bullshit and needs cleaning too

people on the bottom have been kicked so much that they forgot what they are truly worth

they became cowards predestined to shape their own fate against their interest by staying passive

      we need more Luigis

Russia moving on baltics and China moving on Taiwan in unison will probably destroy the world.

    8. is there a negative ‘phase’? Pphase 0 sounds like no phase. Like, just another day.

Will the far right government of France defend Eastern Europe if they come in power? (which is looking like almost a certainty)

Seriously asking, I don’t know much about them except LePen is now not allowed to run which seems like a good news unless there is someone more crazy?

I know LePen has even stronger anti-NATO rhetoric than Trump but I don’t know if she is the norm on that issue among the far right.

Why do people not think Taiwan and Europe could be attacked near simultaneously?

Phase 0 sounds like the whole Russian history so far. They are still in the phase of “we need more teritory” and can’t seem to grow out of it.

The foundation of the modern russian federation is built on corruption, lies and bluffs. Not a very stable foundation if you ask me. I’m not saying they can’t pull off even small things, they are actually doing a decent job with their hybrid warfare.
But that’s at least in part because some people cant be bothered to do fact checking and the response of european countries to these events (and the entire war) has been half-hearted at best due to the EU being staffed by spineless and naive bureaucrats. In times of peace the politicians may be the best fit for governing, but we are not at peace with russia.

I do think russia could take a limited piece of territory, such as a town or city in the Baltics. But I doubt they can do any more. Their economy is tanking, even more so due to Ukraine’s strikes on their oil refineries and now also thermal power plants. It will be interesting to see what will happen in Putin’s tsardom come winter.

Russia and Putin can prepare all they like. If NATO, heck the EU+the UK by itself, will steamroll Russia in Ukraine. The war would be over in 2 weeks.

I don’t want to be too negative, but the destabilisation of smaller countries is quite real and maybe even beyond Phase 0 (what a silly way of scaling things, but okay). And that’s what Russia needs right now – to buy time and to bring chaos wherever they can. It’s textbook KGB and it is enough for them for now. Because they obviously can’t afford to attack NATO, but in ~5 years they might and then the hybrid attacks will have devastating consequences.
