Apart from the obvious ongoing situations has crime recording and what counts as a ‘hate crime’ changed in the three years they are talking about?
Once again the BBC and the Government think the only hate crimes are those perpetuated towards a certain religious minority. Edit: I have read through the article in more depth and it’s disproportionately focused on hate crime impacting religious (Muslim and Jewish) rather than hate crime based on other criteria. My original point may be considered ‘inflammatory’ but the second point stands.
They need to show the demographic breakdown of the perpetrators so that the situation is fully understood for modern context
I wonder why? Who could be doing these things? Surely not our brave patriotic boys?
It must be some mystery group that only turns up when no one is looking and the proud flag waving lads have gone home to gently tuck their children into bed and not batter their wives.
