Not just Brits. Anybody from outside the bloc. We left the Eu, we need to get used to being treated like the rest of the world.

Oh no, really?
Can we hand governance of the country back to a foreign parliament then? I can’t cope with an extra 5 minutes wait in an airport.
Maybe we can abandon our currency too so I don’t have to go bother with going to the tesco money counter a couple of times a year.

Aaah yes; the gift that keeps on giving. Usually subpar economic choices of previous referendums get lost in time into the general malaise of modern life. I appreciate how Brexit comes back to sting ever so often in some new minor inconvenience that makes it hard for me to forget this was a choice we wilfully made

This is going to be a minor annoyance, like the border controls to enter the US. The first time you have to do it there will probably be queues and extra time, though it shouldn’t take much longer than a passport gate (which already verifies your biometrics and takes your pic right?).

Very soon, many of the 12 million people in the UK who have a criminal record will be refused entry into the EU, even as tourists. This is the first step in the ETIAS system being implemented and criminal record checks will be required for tourist entry.

So what ? It’s a minor inconvenience that will help to strengthen EU borders and therefore should help with illegal migration.
