We were discussing what we have given in negotiations to Russia, I think that’s it, we gave them a way to save face. They are staying in Am-Tr and Am – Ir borders “with the request of Armenia”.

Am I the only one who thinks the azeris might attack now, so that the ruskis and 5th column can say “told ya”?

It”s really funny that some people think that we can tell Russia what to do and what not . . . in reality our country is heavily controlled by Russia . . . and the government that tries to look like pro-western is appointed by Russia as all the governments before him.
So if Russia decided to leave, we should start thinking what’s the reason. . . and believe me it’s not that because we asked lol

Notice that this wasn’t declared by an official statement by either Pashinyan or Putin.
This was the spokesperson that revealed what the meeting had brought, as well as Armenian telegram channels.
A statement by either leaders would have at least shown that they are on friendly terms e.g “the statement declared that’s the Russian shoulders had done their jobs and the Armenian Army was ready to take over the areas that it couldn’t defend on its eastern border”
This is a friendly statement.
Saying that Armenia requested that Russian soldiers remain on the Iranian and Turkish borders, however, is not.
Because we can all deduce that Armenia didn’t request that.
As to why Russia agreed?
It’s not because this way Azerbaijan can attack and Russia can did a Gotchya. Azerbaijan atatacked **with RU soldiers on the border**.
I think that both Pacinian and Putin realize that if an attack on the Armenian border by Azerbaijan happens in areas where Russian soldiers are present then the blame will go on Russia.
Azerbaijan will be seen as collaborating with Russian soldiers. Which is one of the main reasons it’s not attacking now, to not go against the west.
Now an attack on the border will be put on the European guards that still haven’t shown the balls to side with Armenia. While removing the international blame from Russia. Giving ALiyev better opportunities to strike.
Because whether Russia is on the border or not, won’t matter when Azerbaijan succeeds on an invasion, and Russia steps in.
Russia in this way, might also have a neutral position as it hasn’t agreed that “borders” exist in Armenia-Azerbaijan. And actually step away from the process of demarcation, removing western interest on the border of the region.
If the entire point of the Wests interest is to remove Russia from the Az-Arm border, and Russia isn’t there. Then what does western interest amount to now?
