I am thinking of moving to the mountain area in France above Monaco with my wife and young child. I will need to commute to Monaco a few days a week and to take my child to school. I was looking into the private schools in Monaco at the moment.
Was thinking of living in a village like La Turbie, Peille, Gorbio, St Agnes etc. Right now, I have no tax reason that makes it worthwhile to live in Monaco itself. In any case, I didn’t want to live on the coast such as between Nice and Monaco or Monaco and Menton. Would prefer to live somewhere less touristy and with more space, a little bit away from the coast. Ideally I’d like to buy a house with a garden and from where I can easy drive down to Monaco during rush hours.
What’s it like living in this area near Monaco? Thanks in advance for any advice or recommendations (in English or French).

Beautiful views, not a lot of realestate offer especially for renting, very boring and a pain to drive around, lots of hills and small roads full of twists and turns 🥴
