4chan should just tell our government where to stick it.

I’m just surprised that 4Chan actually bothered hiring lawyers and didn’t just say “Come find us”.

That’s one way for the government to embarrass thenselves

    4. I wish governments had this passion they use to ruin people’s privacy and rights for actual problems we’re facing instead.

My first thought is “how are they going to MAKE them pay?”

I’m sure since it’s all about protecting the children the UK is definitely pressuring the US for the Epstein list.

Dude isn’t 4chan famous for hacking gov websites?

This is not a battle UK should be picking

    9. Guise, the EFG was just a joke. A meme. Not something Brits should become.

Honestly, if a child were to actively browse 4chan, then the parents should be fined for child neglect instead of 4chan. But seriously since when was a government supposed to act on what children can and can’t do to this extent? This is for a parent to decide!

I’m more surprised people still go to 4chan in the big 2025. I get that it had the appeal of being edgy and full of porn back in the late 2000s but that’s like half of the internet nowadays.

I’d love to get an explanation from OFCOM as to how they think they can legally fine a non-UK website. As in, what’s the actual legal process they think they can implement exactly? Everything I’ve heard points towards it being a complete non-starter.

Do people even use 4chan anymore? What’s the point when you can post the same bigoted shit on Twitter on Instagram
