This is obviously a ridiculous post, but one thing Ireland could adopt from America is the access to public land.
The national parks and forests, along with all the state ones, are great. Some of the nicest wild land in Ireland is kept in private hands, where owners could restrict access at any time, for example Corrán Tuathail. Even the Conor Pass was in private hands until recently.
Yeah I really don’t mind that I don’t get to kill ducks or own a device made solely for killing.

I always find this lot funny, it invariably comes down to the 1st and 2nd amendment and, to paraphrase “This is the greatest country on earth because i can be a horrible racist cunt in public with no repercussions (from the government) AND I can take my semi automatic penis extension out grocery shopping… Reeee, FREEEEEDUMB!”
Call me crazy, but I’d have thought having fewer dickheads wandering around the place armed to the teeth would make somewhere a more pleasant place to live – but evidently I just don’t get it.
