    1. Surely someone with common sense saw a man turn up at our country in a boat with a fucking machine gun across his face and thought “this is likely a terrible person to allow in”.

Much rather we work out a deal like Germany have with Afghanistan so we can deport people like this instead of tax payers paying for them.

      One moment later…

“Wait, he’s Mooslamic and said bad things about St. Nigel of Farage, lock him up and throw away the key”

Where do I stand – lock him up and lock up those inciting people to burn down asylum hotels, in a civilised country free speech has limits.

    4. Getting done for saying some hurty words on social media, insane 🙄

Let him do us a favour, then send him back home with a gift basket.

Politically motivated threats, or actual violence, should be abhorred in all forms. Any who feel strongly enough to think this may be justified, or that the penalty is harsh, would do well to remember Jo Cox and David Amess.

When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.

In isolation, five years seems like a LOT for the actual offence. But this man has proven himself to be dangerous which would explain the tougher sentencing.

But he won’t be rehabilitated. I really don’t know what the answer is for this. We’ve seen our MPs murdered in broad daylight and whatever you think about Farage he should be able to ~~do his job~~ live his life without fearing for it.

I thought Farage didn’t like people being locked up for social media comments? Personally, I’m happy pos like this guy aren’t on the streets but surely Nigel is outraged….

We seriously need to review if this law is fit for purpose and apply some common sense to what constitutes an actual, serious threat to someone’s life.

But also there will be crickets over this compared to the fuss people made when the law led similar to sentencing for people targeting immigrants, and that is objectively quite funny.

    10. You can serve less time than this for actually killing people.

    11. Really not helping the case here lad.

farage is a cunt, any reasonable person knows that, but you can’t lower yourself to cunt standards and do that. Death threats of any politicians are terrible and it’s good that this has happened as maybe it will show balance on both sides imo.

GIven the outrage with which Reform have thrown their support behind Lucy Connolly, treating her like a martyr to the cause of free speech, even asking her to speak at the Reform conference, they’re gonna be fucking *fuming* when they hear about what happened to this guy. After all, Reform are so principled they’d *never* be massively hypocritical about issues like this.

Not saying its right but never forget jo cox died because of farage .

Two tier! That’s a longer sentence than instructing people to go on a mass murder arson spree!!!

Wonder if the same will happen to the man, who called for our PM to be shot at the ‘united the Kingdom’ rally.

Our borders are such a mess…

An obvious nut job with plenty of priors can just waltz his way into the country, and then we get to waste millions on the judicial system on him, then an extra 50k a year for the next 5 years keeping him locked up, and then probably another fortune in lawyer fees trying to deport him afterwards.
