Ho utilizzato più volte i cacciaviti Swiss Tools nei diversi luoghi in cui ho lavorato e anche a casa. In tutte le occasioni ci sono stati due fattori comuni:
- Sono davvero di buona qualità e possono durare tutta la vita.
- Puzzano.
Che diavolo c’è che non va nell’impugnatura di questi strumenti? Ho usato migliaia di cacciaviti in altri paesi e avevano tutti caratteristiche diverse, ma non puzzavano mai. Non avrei mai pensato che valesse la pena aggiungere “puzzolente” nella recensione di un cacciavite, lol
Volevo solo condividere qualcosa che penso ogni volta che devo usare uno di questi.

It is “screwing “ you, abandon it! lol
We usually store them with our cheese so they keep this original smell and we remember home
PB Swiss is the best regardless of the smell.

In the production of them buturic acid is used which leads to the odor if you have them someplace not well ventilated (like in a toolbox). For some years now they added vanilla to the mix to counteract it.
And yes, factory fresh pbswisstool screwdrivers smell like vanilla 😀
As per their FAQ:
When stored in airtight containers such as drawers and tool cases, handles made from the modified natural cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB) substance develop an unpleasant odor. The development of an odor is not linked to the material properties, i.e. the product remains qualitatively sound in terms of its functionality.
To neutralize the odor, we add a discreet vanilla fragrance to our CAB handles.
