“Energy companies will keep “gouging” customers if the Government keeps providing credits to domestic customers”
Who exactly is running the country. The leader of the country claims to be “powerless” in the face of the energy cartels.
“If you keep [giving] them, then we keep underpinning the gouging,”
Sounds exactly like the confidence trick being pulled in the Irish people by FFFG for generations. Obviously it takes one gouger to know another.
How is it different to the construction cartels. According to Martin’s logic if you provide a buyers grand, SEAI subsidy or a tax sweetener, they will just factor that into their charges and pocket the gent money accordingly.
“energy companies are charging householders three times the wholesale price” Clearly they are focused on the best interests of the climate and their clients. Pure fraud.
Gougers to the left of me, gurriers to the right, here I am stuck in middle Ireland broke to my bollox. All these cute hoors claiming to have the best interests of the people at heart.
Wake up folks it’s a big charade. It’s one big party at your expense. You’re not invited but you’re definitely paying for the champers roight!. It’s the hubris and exceptionalism of Golf gate on full display across every aspect of establishment Ireland.
Jokes on you, Serfs up suckers.

Funny how he can recognise this regarding energy credits but not the massive hand outs pocketed by developers with their housing grants.

If only the state owned the ESB and could ban this

Why is this man pretending that he has not powers that would allow him to do something about obvious price gouging? He has all the powers, he choose not as usual because he’s working for big corporations and not the people of this country. His budget reeks of this.
