Stavo andando a lezione oggi e ho visto questo sul pavimento sul marciapiede. Cos’è e cosa dice? Riesco a distinguere alcuni nomi ma il carattere mi confonde. E dove potrei consegnarlo all’ufficio oggetti smarriti, se ce n’è uno? Sembrava importante, quindi non volevo lasciarlo sul pavimento.
Anche questo è stato trovato sul marciapiede a circa 10 minuti dalla stazione centrale di Francoforte, molto vicino alla Torre della BCE. Se lo riconosci come tuo, faccelo sapere.

Looks like it commemorates something like two people getting together or married or whatever. But that font and that motto on the back gives off clear Nazi vibes. Now, I believe Nazis are also humans and deserve to get their lost item back. I would bring it to the police if you got time. That being said, Germany is not Japan and it is highly unlikely the person will get it back even you bring it there. Also if he went to the police asking if anyone found his “Meine Ehre heißt Treue” tag a funny situation would ensue

It’s a right wing dog tag like the dogtags soldiers wear in combat, but this looks like a necklace for a right wing/nazi couple cause of the two names and the forbidden “my honor is loyalty” slogan. It was used in the third reich by the SS and it is crime in germany to have it anywhere, see: § 86a StGB, Verwenden von Kennzeichen verfassungswidriger und terroristischer Organisationen.
So if you drop it of to police, make sure youre not accociated with it and the person that walks in there and wants it back gets a criminal record. So you could just dump it in the trash where it belongs IMO.

I dont get it. The names are obviously names with turkish or arabic background. Hatixhe (Hatice?) is a turkish name. Harun is arabic, turkish or albanian. Anisah is arabic.
The shortend names fit migrant backgrounds better than native german names.

So at first I thought it was just a weird, cutesy couples-thing because of the date (valentines day). Sure, the names are weird, but that’s not my business.

While it is vaguely possible that people use it without knowing the history, because let’s be honest, the line *does* go pretty hard, in combination with that font the whole badge comes across as very suspicious.
You could hand it over to the local Fundbüro, but it’s probably better if you just throw it in a trash can. Because that’s where it belongs.
