I have majored intervention.
I usually go to Tournai, Ath or Mons, from Leuze, for volunteerships. Say about 3 times a week on average (barely not enough to make a subscription worth). Which used to cost me 2.50€, or 4.50€ in the case of Mons. Additionally, I sometimes have to take my cycle (I am volunteer for Avello after all) for 4€.
The ticket price to Tournai or Ath is unchanged. To Mons, it is 0.10€ extra on rush hour, or 1.80€ cheaper outside. Unfortunately, I don’t decide of the time at which the volunteerships happen, so it’s rush hour. Rush hour also means 1€ extra for my cycle.
Sometimes, I need to go to Gent, for medical matters. This costed me 7.60€ previously, and it’ll be the same price without Train+. Train+ would save me 3€ in off-peak hour, or 2.10€ in rush hour. Hospital appointments usually being at 8:00, I’m usually in rush hour. This makes Train+ worth it if I have a single appointment during any month during the launch offer, but I’d need 2 appointments to make it worth otherwise. Which UZ Gent kindly avoids knowing from how far I come.
So… no, it’s more expensive, and also a lot more complicated.
Was 8,60 enkele reis. Nu 8,70.
20 cent erbij heen en terug dus.
