To incrase the defense budget is one thing, to do so in a way that is coupled with massive deficits is a terrible idea, you cant defend your country if you are going to go bankrupt, and there is a lot of spending that is just there as a nice political strategy that makes otherwise economic populism more palateable

Godspeed to the Baltics, i worry for them and I wish the likes of France, Germany and ourselves would aim to spend similar and help them out.

I know they are in NATO but they need to act as one, just in case NATO takes to long ever to respond, also all having one type of multirole jet with same bombs/missiles will help.
