Europe won’t have any digital sovereignty if we continue with the same attitude. We need to stop taking the cheapest/easiest option, I.e backing US companies over building our own infrastructure.
We need to be more assertive and prioritise our own companies. Also, Chat Control needs purging, it’s an insult to everyone.

There should a hall of shame for these kind of politicians like Denmark’s Justice Minister. There’s no justice in his personal stupidity and ignorance which he wants to project into masses.

I can see why people are divided on this. Balancing privacy, regulation, and innovation isn’t easy.

If chat control is as amazing as they say they have done a shit jobb to explain this to the general public. So they should maybe start with that and make sure there is more transparency in how the law was created and which lobby organisations have been involved

I’d support chat control if it included politicians and rich people.
But we all know politicians want to cover up the bribes and the pedophiles. They’ll project their problems onto the general population and offer a “remedy” in the form of a 1984-esque big brother surveillance, which only increases their power so they could continue with their degenerate rule.

Our political class are corrupt to the core. Only good thing about the UK not being the EU anymore is that they can’t vote for Chat Control (because oh, our politicians no matter what party would vote for chat control)
