Considering all our public health records are already floating around Russian internet after they hacked the HSE and we are four years into Putin’s three day war on Europe our lads are only waking up now that this dictator is crazy and is not going away

Connolly didn’t get the memo, apparently. She wants Europe to de-arm to make it easy for Russia.
If it’s not a threat from the UK there will be limited interest.

Will Taoiseach Micheal Martin be sending his own son away to fight Russians and North Koreans in squalid trenches in the East? Seems happy enough to send other people’s children…
I find it extraordinary how we bleat on about 800 years of occupation and fighting for freedom, and then when we get our independence we barely bother to try and defend ourselves. There’s this assumption that all is peaceful and good in the world, and history can never repeat. There’s a real threat that Russia will try and test whether NATO will hold together with an incursion into the Baltics, the US is flirting with fascism, and god only knows what the next UK government will act like given it’ll possibly be ‘Reform’ headbangers who were too extreme even for the Conservatives.

The US is a threat from Russia.
An overwhelming majority of the people are about to vote for a President who stands for the direct opposite of this. I think Martin needs to listen to the people and stop pandering to the war mongers in the west. If he refuses to do what the majority clearly want then President Connolly must block and delay all legislation coming from his government until there is a general election to allow a Left government enact the wishes of the people.
