      Usual industry puff piece.

Give it a few minutes for the bootlickers to arrive.

This is not particularly useful information without data on the differences in the costs those awards and settlements are designed to compensate for.

Are those also 5 times higher, or are they 10 times higher, or are they lower?

Depending on the answer to that the amounts might be absolutely spot on, or too low, or too high.

On its own this information tells us very little.

As someone who used to work in the civil courts this is no surprise. Payouts are less now but 10 years ago they were a joke. You’d have lads with 10 previous claims getting tens of thousands.

Well also one has free health care the other doesn’t? I mean physio alone cost 80 Quid for 30mins if you get that then every 2 weeks for 6 months your already looking at almost 1000 euro pay out, not mention everything else that goes with that. I don’t think we’ll see ever see us getting uk prices for insurance cause insurance company’s would be like the Irish market is too small to reduce prices.

Insurance companies can honestly fuck off, They were saying the same for about 4 years in regard to injury claims. Blaming insurance rising costs on it, Insurance payout where reduced and the prices went up anyway.

Insurance, an industry of paying money for something you most likely will never need but have no choice… Where any justification can be made up to increase premium or reject a claim. Why is insurance not state owned in the first place? If it is required?

But but…that’s cos are chancers necks are 4.9 times harder than the Brits. They’re rookie numbers UK 🇬🇧

I mean we pay higher premiums so why shouldn’t the payouts be higher? It’s not like The insurance companies are ever going to reduce the profit margin – They have shareholders.

Didn’t they reduce payouts by a lot? I guess this equates to 1000000% higher premiums we pay for everything. Right?
