People in the comments need to stop jumping to conclusions. The woman on the photo is a Czech MEP, Markéta Gregorová, who’s critical of China.
She comments on her social media (instagram) that she didn’t expect much from this EU-China meeting. She asked them on their “neutrality” and “support for Russia” and the Chinese delegates blamed everything on NATO and EU expansion.
She says it was worthless.
EU parliament is usually more anti-China. I don’t think there would be much agreement but I am glad the communication still happens. It’s always good to have some form of communication whatever the situation. For that matter I think you guys should set up communication channel with Russia as well. (I am Chinese)
