Unsurprisingly the world will not end nor will the reformation be cancelled.

I know this is historically significant and would have been literally unimaginable hundreds of years ago, but all I can think of today is that this just demonstrates how irrelevant and redundant all of this stuff is in many people’s lives in 2025.

I saw a study recently saying that Catholics now outnumber Anglicans among Gen-Z.

More broadly there seems to be a Catholic revival going on in a few countries.

Given the prevailing reputation of both institutions … is “pray” spelt with an A or an E here?

    5. Actual-Sprinkles2942 on

I remember being taught that Christ said not to pray in public – so what the hell do you think you’re doing, Pope and Charles?

And to think his mum was monarch for 14% of that 500 years.

“Dear god please help the poor amen love from the king and the pope”

It’s quite funny in a sad sort of way that the Church of England seems to be highly motivated to hurriedly make itself look as utterly redundant and unprincipled as possible.

If he really wants to make headlines he should pray with a grand ayatollah (just not the rock ‘n’ roller one)

Some of our loyalist politicians in Northern Ireland about to call Charles a Lundy, or have a heart attack.

Can we somehow manage to connect the Orange Order and NI Loyalists to the national grid? The apoplectic rage and energy produced might be enough to power the country for years.

Hook up Ian Paisley’s spinning grave as well.

The British monarchy always prayed fervently since first pulling the sword from the stone, it kept the dragons away when they ran out of virgins to sacrifice and even before that kept Reform firmly imprisoned in their molten brimstone oozing natural environment.

The Amazon River runs for thousands of miles. At some points, it runs through areas of the rain forest that are almost untouched and have been barely explored. Because of the porous limestone in these areas, the river water leaks through the stone and travels deep into the earth and forms underground pools almost a mile below the surface. Over thousands of years, small blind transparent fish have lived and evolved in these pools. These fish have never seen the sun or surface and have never been seen by humans. These fish care more about this than I do.

But the bots on Twitter told me he’d converted to Islam.

      Is the pope even Christian?

You never hear of him wanting cash for a private jet or two, or trying to get more tax breaks do you?

This helping the poor and sick, with no regard for the insurance execs losses and his catholics not paying tithes either?

It doesn’t sound very christian, I’ll bet he hasn’t even got any assault weapons.

And yet he swore an oath to uphold the reformation and destroy popery? Interesting…

I wonder of His Holiness raised the issue of the theft of Church property, which continues to fund the “Windsors” today?

I’m sure if Jesus himself was alive today, he’d denounce both of these individuals…

    21. Matthew 6:5-6

“5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.”

Have the leaders of these churches not read their book?

Charles feels a brotherly love towards paedophiles, of course he’ll pray with the Catholic Pope
